Is there anyone else here that hates to throw ANYTHING away? Even paper scraps? I save and organize every bit I can so that when a holiday comes around I can do some projects like these Valentine’s Day crafts with paper. I also found a new resource to get LOTS of fun crafting papers… check out my video below.

Valentine’s Day Crafts with Paper
These paper scraps came from the monthly subscription box on NSPaperGoods. I shared in the video below but in case you don’t want to watch it, they’re a family-owned commercial print shop that didn’t want their trimmings and excess papers to go to waste. (Sounds like my kinda people!) So they started a monthly subscription box for paper crafters. Each month a 6″ x 9″ box, PACKED with papers, tags, magnets, envelopes, labels, and more, comes in the mail.
UPDATE: When I updated this article in 2021, it looks like this company has gone out of business. I’ll come back and update it again if I found out they’re still around.
Take a look at my monthly subscription box:
Paper Topiary
Here’s the perfect Valentine’s Day craft for all those thin paper strips in my box.
Valentine Heart Specimen Art
I have a small 1″ heart paper punch that I’m going to use for this project. This one will use up a lot of little paper scraps… even 1-2″ pieces.
Spiral Paper Flower Heart
I haven’t tried this one yet but I love how all the different shades of pink look mixed together!
Love Letters on the Mantle
And if you make that last heart, put a few letters around it for your mantle.
3-D Hanging Hearts
I did make some hearts like this last year with my 1″ paper punch. But mine were on a garland and didn’t have all these pretty beads.
Valentine’s Day Wreath with Paper Rosettes
I love the edges of these paper rosettes! Look closely… see the little tiny heart punches in each scallop?
Paper Heart Bracelet
I know some little girls that would love these bracelets!
Conversation Heart Paper Plate Basket
I’ve never made a basket out of a paper plate. But this tutorial made it look easy. They could be decorated however you want. These would be great for sharing Valentine’s Day cookies!
Love in Any Language Ticket Garland
Remember that time I bought 2000 blank pink tickets and 2000 blank red tickets? Well, I still have some. I’ll be making another Valentine’s Day garland next week!
Original Valentine’s Day Ticket Garland
Oh, yeah… I bought 2000 white tickets, too! This was the first garland I made.
Love Garland
I used a few more red tickets to make this little garland to add to my family photos.
Tissue Paper Valentine Votives
I didn’t get any tissue paper in my monthly subscription box but I can probably find a few scraps around here somewhere!

Lora of great ideas. I always save my paper scraps. If nothing else, I can make price tags for items that go into my vintage booths! I’ve made some crazy patchwork cards with some of my scraps and often punch shapes out of scraps, too!
