Valentine's Day

How to Make a Glitter Heart Valentine Banner with Blank Tickets

I hope y’all aren’t tired of my blank ticket craft projects yet.  I still have loads of these to use up!  Today I’m sharing a Valentine banner that I made by adding glitter hearts to the tickets.  It’s a super quick and easy Valentine’s Day craft.

How to Make Mini Heart Banner

  1. Punch holes in both top corners of the blank tickets.
  2. Glue hearts in the center of the tickets.
  3. Run seam binding through holes.

And now a close-up…

Glitter heart garland

See how easy that was?  This Valentine banner is decorating my tree this year.  Along with a few other decorations I’ve made and these slate heart ornaments I bought last year. I think I got them at Hobby Lobby but I haven’t seen them in a few years. I’m looking for a source now.

Last year I hung them on my red lanterns from Oriental Trading.

Valentine’s Day has become my third favorite holiday.  At least it looks that way if you see how many decorations I have!  Christmas is still, and will always be, first.  Thanksgiving/fall is a close second.  I was surprised when I went to pull out my Valentine decorations and saw how many things I had in the box!

Of course, it’s nice because I can leave out my red decor from Christmas… the red lanterns, my solid red and red plaid pillow covers, and my red throw blanket.

The garlands are all adorable. It’s a tough choice to pick a favorite. The tickets with the heart garland are so simple and adorable. What a creative idea. Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty

Very fun! I love it when I find a roll of tickets at thrift shops. I think I have one in at least four colors. So fun for crafting! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
