I’m always tempted to leave a Christmas tree up… this year I did it. It’s decorated for Valentine’s Day right now. You can see it here. Today I’ll show you how I made a simple Valentine ticket garland with blank tickets.

I made this Valentine ticket garland to go on my Valentine Tree and a few extras to sell at the January Room With a Past sale. They were popular so I thought I’d share them here, too. Here’s what I started with:
Supplies for Valentine Ticket Garland
- Martha Stewart heart punch
- pink/white/red tickets
- pink/cream/red seam binding or ribbon
- stapler
- hole punch
- scrapbook paper
How to Make a Valentine Garland
Punch little hearts out of the scrapbook paper and staple them to the tickets.
Punch holes in the corners.
Whoa… someone needs a manicure! Anyway, run the seam binding through each hole. The ends will get tattered like this but don’t worry, you can trim them when you get all the tickets on.
Finished Valentine’s Day Garland
Here’s the finished project. This looks good when all the tickets are alike or you can alternate pink, red, and white like the one on my Valentine tree.
