I’m a huge fan of Fixer Upper so, of course, a trip to Magnolia Market in Waco was high on my list of things to do while I was in Texas for Antique Alley, back in the fall of 2015. I talked my sister and dad into going with me while my amazing brother-in-law watched the kids! This was our FIRST trip to the little shop on Bosque.

Do we look like sisters? Really, we didn’t even notice that we had dressed EXACTLY alike until we got out of the car in Waco! I just need to get her a Duct Tape and Denim I Love Texas necklace!
First things first… had to take my #MilesToMagnolia photo out in front of the shop. They had a little photo op set up with a chalkboard so you could fill in how many miles you traveled to get there. I think mine turned out to be 1830. But the number I erased was even bigger… 2225. These people are marketing geniuses!
Loved the front porch with the old chairs. There were some men sitting there when we arrived. Good place to wait for their wives!
Inside the Old Magnolia Market Shop on Bosque
I had been told that the shop was small but I wasn’t prepared for how small it actually was! There were two tiny little buildings. I was standing in the middle of the first building (with the MAGNOLIA sign on it) when I took the photo below.
I usually feel self conscious when I take photos in shops. But after sneaking in a few here I realized EVERYONE was taking pictures so my sister and I got after it. I might have gone a little overboard. But, after all, I drove 1835 mile JUST to shop at Magnolia Market. (Not really.) This post doesn’t even include all the photos we took.
We even took pictures of each other taking pictures! My sister took this next one of me… flexi clip sighting! See, I told you I wear those clips ALL THE TIME. Especially when it’s hot. (You can find them in my online Lilla Rose shop.)
So then I had to take a picture of my sister taking a picture. I only got part of her flexi clip in. She wears them every day, too!
Had to take a selfie with a faux agave for the hubby. Growing agaves is one of his hobbies.
This next picture is the opposite side of the shop. Lots of kitchen stuff here. I love how it was displayed on the wood rounds. #shiplap !!! You’ll get it if you watch the show.
I think Tex Farmer even enjoyed the shopping day.
When I heard that their new shop in the silos was opening in Fall 2015 I started making my plans for this trip. I was a little disappointed to find out they wouldn’t be open until the end of October and my trip was the middle of September. But Tex found the silos for us so we took more pictures.
There were sooooooo many more photos! I made a collage with some of my favorites so you can see them all. Please feel free to pin it or share it on Facebook. I’d love for everyone to see how much fun this place is.
There were no Chip and Joanna sightings today but we did have a great time shopping and being inspired by all the beautiful things in their boutique.
