I like to repurpose everything… even food. Â So, on that rare occasion when we have food left over after a football party, I made something I call the “Day After the Big Game” Salad. Â If you bought everything just to make this salad I guess you could go ahead and call it a buffalo chicken salad.

Buffalo Chicken Salad
- buffalo chicken, picked from the bone
- lettuce
- tomato
- shredded cheese
- peppers
- avocado
- Fritos
- ranch dip
First I pick the meat off the buffalo chicken wings. Â We also had shredded cheese, peppers, and avocados left over from nachos, ranch dip left over from our veggie tray, and a few Fritos left in a bag one of our guests left behind. Â I added all of it on top of a bed of lettuce and added some chopped tomatoes.

I will agree that the photos don’t look all that appetizing but it is a delicious salad!
We LOVE football around our house and food is a big part of the football fun. Â We have some favorites already on the blog and will be sharing more in the future.
