I know I’ve got some shoppers here! And that many of you would love to go antique shopping in Waco. I grew up just north of Waco so we get back there pretty often. Today I’m sharing some of the best vintage and antique stores in Waco. I’d love to hear if you’ve got other recommendations for me… we go back every few months!

Vintage & Antique Stores in Waco
First, we’ll start with the most well-known… but hang on… we’ll get to the “good stuff” in a minute.
Magnolia Market
Chip and Joanna Gaines brought farmhouse style back and are why most people want to shop in Waco now. Magnolia Market is well worth going to but after visiting all the other shops in my list I have to admit that it isn’t my favorite place to shop in Waco! Although I would still pick up a few gifts from here, there isn’t much in the way of vintage or antique.
I’ve gone into more detail in lots of other posts so I’ll just refer you to these. Here’s where you can read about our trips to Magnolia Market:
- Our First Trip to the Silos
- Magnolia Market at the Silos, Part 1 – the Grounds + the BEST place to park!
- Magnolia Market at the Silos, Part 2 – Inside the Shop
- Magnolia Bakery
- Magnolia Garden Center
All of these can be found at 601 Webster Ave and are NOT open on Sunday.
Magnolia Warehouse Shop
The original Magnolia Market is now a warehouse shop. Check for opening times before going. Here’s what it looked like back when we visited the original shop.
And here’s where you can read more about our trip to the original Magnolia Market: Our First Trip to Magnolia Market on Bosque
3801 Bosque Blvd.
Now on to the REAL antique shops…
Vintage Shops on LaSalle Avenue
Junque in the Trunk
This place was soooooo much fun! Probably one of my favorite. They had a huge sign painted on the side of their building so of course we followed their instructions and posted selfies on Instagram! We found many unique pieces here.
Sarah visited, too, and shared a photo on her blog.
Shades of Shabby
[UPDATE: Unfortunately, Shades of Shabby has closed. I believe there’s another store there now so I need to go down and check it out. Please contact me if you know for sure. Thanks!]
Shades of Shabby is right next door to Junque in the Trunk so don’t miss it! I loved the unique style, including the vintage camper inside the store. And they had some delicious-smelling candles burning!

- Riverside Relics, 1105 La Salle Ave
Waco Antique Shops on Austin Avenue
Sparrow-Waco
Sparrow was voted Waco’s Best Antique Store in both 2021 and 2022. They have amazing farmhouse decor plus they offer workshops, handmade goods, and other local artisan creations.

These 2 shops share the same building. I loved the rustic, industrial look. [UPDATE: This store is permanently closed.] 1522 Austin Avenue
