Thrift Store Finds

Thrift Store Haul, Catching Up From the Holidays {VIDEO}

I’ve heard from many of you that you like seeing what I find at thrift stores and you want to know more.  Like what projects I’m going to use them for, where I bought them, how much I paid for them, etc.  I was so busy with shipping Etsy orders in the last few months of the year that I didn’t have time to show you any of my finds.   So today I’m sharing a thrift store haul video that shows a few of the things I’ve bought through the fall and holiday season.  Leave a comment and let me know which is your favorite and if you have any ideas for how I could use them in DIY projects.

I think this globe may be my favorite.  Do you think I should chalkboard paint it?  I’ve seen a lot of old globes painted and I’m very tempted.  But painting over vintage globes makes me really nervous!

    Gee I love your thrift finds!! I was so surprised to see wicker basket – (mom used to have it to hold her sewing supplies) …what a surprise when I saw the little tea set….I still have mine which my godmother bought me for a birthday gift when I was 8!!! Mine has a maple leaf on it and my grand-daughter, and I and my Barbies love love love to have tea parties when she comes over. I had done the same with the wicker basket put in the tea set and my miniature spoons!!! It makes me feel soooo old when they are called . Hey I’m only 60 but some days I do feel ! Love that globe!!!

    Wow that’s such a great haul! I don’t have any experience with selling on etsy, but that little globe is so cute the way it is… Do you think someone would want it as-is? Also, do you have any posts on how you refurbish your Bibles?:)

    Have a great day!

    I’d clean up little globe and leave it like it is. I love that! It’s adorable.

    My favorite from this haul is the set of floral wall hangings! Very cool! I am interested in seeing the altered Bible/prayer book, when finished. Thanks.
