I told you back in January that I was going to leave one of my Christmas trees up all year long. Guess what? It’s still up! But now it’s a patriotic Christmas tree! I’ll keep it decorated like this from Memorial Day through July.

My Patriotic Christmas Tree
First it was my Valentine tree. Then I decorated it for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter but somehow missed posting any photos of either of those. I think it may get a baseball theme for a while this summer. But I have some Christmas in July projects planned so it might look like December for a while during the summer, too!
Here’s a close up…
You may not be able to tell but there are tiny red and blue clothes pins pinned all over it. I made the scrap garland many years ago. It was featured in Somerset Holidays and Celebrations along with my denim pennants. I think Angie gave me the ‘pinwheels’ one year when we went to the singing flag.
I’ve collected a few vintage and reproduction patriotic postcards, too.
A few years back I added this framed piece I found, at all place, Dollar Tree! It’s probably my favorite thing I’ve ever bought there!
