Today I’m sharing another handmade, hand stamped Christmas ornament for our Christmas in July celebration. I don’t remember our first Christmas ornament. It might have been a Hallmark ball with the year we were married. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t handmade. Do you remember your first Christmas ornament in your first new home? What was it?

Supplies & Tools for Our First Christmas Ornament
- aluminum key blank
- 3mm metal stamps
- Sunshine cloth
- Jump ring
- Bench block
I made another video so you can just watch me step by step! Scroll on past if you’d rather read about it than watch it.
Step One: Stamp “OUR FIRST HOME” on the aluminum key blank. Color in the letters with a Sharpie. Wipe off and polish with a Sunshine cloth.
Step Two: Add 2016 charm with fancy jump rings.
Step Three: Add jute, ribbon, or seam binding to hang.
This will make a special gift for those on your list who got married or moved out on their own for the first time this year. You could even personalize it with their address!
