Christmas DIY

Our First Christmas Ornament, Hand Stamped {VIDEO}

Today I’m sharing another handmade, hand stamped Christmas ornament for our Christmas in July celebration.  I don’t remember our first Christmas ornament.  It might have been a Hallmark ball with the year we were married.  But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t handmade.  Do you remember your first Christmas ornament in your first new home?  What was it?

I made another video so you can just watch me step by step!  Scroll on past if you’d rather read about it than watch it.

Step One:  Stamp “OUR FIRST HOME” on the aluminum key blank.  Color in the letters with a Sharpie.  Wipe off  and polish with a Sunshine cloth.

Step Two:  Add 2016 charm with fancy jump rings.

Step Three:  Add jute, ribbon, or seam binding to hang.

Done!
