I’m in Waco today!!! We’re getting a special tour with Waco Tours! I’ll be sharing the WHOLE story here on the blog in a few weeks. But today you can follow along on Instagram and Facebook. I can’t tell you how many people ask me if I’m going to the Magnolia Market silos when they find out I’m going to Texas. Remember my first trip was just before the silos opened so I got to see the original Magnolia Market over on Bosque Road. It was TINY compared to their new place!

Sister Chicks go to Magnolia Market Silos
Here we are right outside the gate. I love how they left the silos old and rusty. Straight down the path behind us, past the silos, is the new garden center. It wasn’t opened but they did have the gardens outside all planted. Lots of great ideas there.
I grew up on a pig farm so this next picture was hilarious to me. This is not what our pig feeders looked like! I showed this to my dad and he said they should have planted in the bottom holes, too! (Must run in the family.)
Here’s a collage of some of the other photos we took in the garden area. A few of the Gaines’ goats were also visiting but there were so many people around them I couldn’t get a picture.
From there we went inside and were amazed by the displays! I love how they kept the original walls and much of the other features inside.
This wall decor was amazing! And it would be sooooooo easy to make!
I’ve really been getting into place settings lately so I’m taking pictures of them wherever I go. I have lots of ideas stored up!
Prices at the silos are a little high and I already had two suitcases FULL of jewelry for the vintage markets so I found some look alikes on Amazon:
I’ve mentioned this to several people who wanted to know what Magnolia Market had for sale… There probably wasn’t anything brand new that I’d never seen before. It’s just the way things have been styled and displayed together. Joanna Gaines is a great curator!
In this vignette they had kitchen towels printed with recipes and showed some in painted frames. Great idea for these or any fun print. A couple of the frames just had ticking in them! I’d love to take some of my mother’s and grandmother’s handwritten recipes and turn them into kitchen towels or just frame them. Maybe a future project?
If you read my previous post of our trip to the original Magnolia Market you’ll notice one big difference in the photos. The original shop was much brighter. I loved how much natural light they had inside. The silo shop was much bigger but darker.
Lots of my favorite display pieces… vintage crates!
You might have heard some rumors about a Magnolia bakery, too. This little building on the corner of the property was being remodeled while we were there. So hopefully on our next trip we’ll get to visit the bakery and the garden shop, too!
