St. Patrick's Day

How to Make a LUCKY St Patricks Day Garland with Blank Tickets

A few years ago,  NINE to be exact, I bought huge rolls of blank red and green tickets to make these garlands.  I had a blast making them and even sold them in my Etsy shop.  But because I had bought so many tickets I had “tons” left.  So I took my own advice about using Christmas crafting supplies for other holidays and made this LUCKY St Patricks Day garland with some of the green tickets.

I’ll be making this project in a Facebook Live tutorial on either February 25, 2021, or March 4, 2021. (Depending on when my new stickers come in.) I’ll add the video below. OR you can follow our Duct Tape and Denim Facebook page to see us live!

Supplies Needed for St Patricks Day Garland

  • Thickers glitter chipboard alphabet stickers
  • blank green tickets (If you don’t want that many, you can also buy smaller amounts on Etsy or in our own online shop.)
  • Hug Snug seam binding, cream
  • stapler / staples

Again, so easy I don’t think I even need to write out instructions.

Just stick the Thickers (my new favorite stickers!) to the tickets and then staple the tickets to the seam binding.DIY Lucky ticket St Patricks Day garland tutorial

You’ll probably be seeing more similar projects ’cause I still have LOTS of tickets and stickers!

I made several and sold this one at Paris Flea Market.

I’ve also made quite a few Valentine’s Day blank ticket garlands.

What a FANTASTIC idea! I have a roll of vintage unused movie tickets from the 1940s that I use as price tags…so I’m partial to anything using tickets. 🙂 I’m thrilled you linked up with us at Snickerdoodle Sunday…hope to see you again this weekend with your latest makes!
