Condiments Healthy Main Dish Quick and Easy Salads

Easiest Homemade Buffalo Ranch Salad Dressing EVER!

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, once summer gets here I don’t want to cook anymore.  We eat a lot of salads and grilled meats and vegetables.   On the weekend I may grill a whole package of chicken breasts, chop them up, and eat them on wraps, salads, or pasta during the week.  Ranch dressing is one of my favorites.  I love to change it up so I’m not eating the same dressing all the time.  This buffalo ranch salad dressing version makes it a little (or a lot) spicy!

It’s simple to make.  Only two ingredients if you buy the ranch dressing.  If you want to make your own healthier version with Greek yogurt follow my recipe from a few weeks ago.

Once you have your ranch dressing just mix it with Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce.  I’m not going to give you exact measurements for this recipe.  It basically depends on how hot you like it.

Start with the amount of ranch you want on your salad and add a few dashes of the Red Hot sauce.  Taste and adjust until you have it right.

The amount I mixed together on the left turned out pretty hot for me.  ðŸ™‚

This would be a great dip for a veggie tray, chicken nuggets, or as I ate this batch… on a Buffalo Chicken Salad.

Buffalo Ranch Salad Ingredients

  • lettuce
  • grape tomatoes
  • chopped grilled chicken
  • crispy onions
  • grated cheese
  • buffalo ranch dressing

Let me know if you try it!  Feel free to pin it, too!

If you missed the other salads I shared this summer, they’re listed below.  I do as little cooking during the summer as I can!

ok – Saving this one! I love buffalo wings and since having to go gluten free, I haven’t had them often (I have to make them myself). What a great summer alternative!! Put this one on my pintrest page! Thanks!

This dressing sounds great! I think my son would like to dip chicken wings in it, though I would like it with the salad you posted. Thank you for sharing at Fiesta Friday!
