Christmas is only five months from today! That’s plenty of time to craft your gifts and decorations but don’t procrastinate!
Today is also Friday Favorites so I’m sharing one of my favorite Christmas necklaces with you. I was so excited to find this little nativity charm a few years ago. I collect nativity scenes and now I can wear one all through the Christmas season. (And, I have to admit, I have worn it in the middle of the summer a few times, too.)
Both these necklaces are only $15.00 + s/h in my Etsy shop for our Christmas in July sale.
The boxes are available, also, and can be customized with your own message. These are great for teacher’s or bridesmaids gifts.
But these inserts are pretty easy to make on your own. Just measure the inside dimensions of your gift box and create a text block in your word processing program that’s a tiny bit smaller. Add your message at the top and/or bottom.
Measure the depth of your gift box, take about half of that measurement and leave that much space around each side when you cut out the insert.
Cut the corners off and fold down the sides. With a little trimming it should fit in just right. (I printed these on a regular sheet of copy paper to make sure I had the dimensions right before printing on cardstock.)
