Vintage Suitcase Chalkboard Sign

Vintage Suitcase Chalkboard Sign by |

I am loving chalkboard paint lately!  You’ve seen a few table tops I’ve done with chalk paint.  They’ve been really popular at Treasure Island Flea.  My newest project is this vintage suitcase chalkboard sign.
Before and After painting my vintage suitcase with chalkboard paint. Makes a great sign for weddings, parties, or flea market booth | DuctTapeAndDenim.comI bought the suitcase from Lonae’s space at Room With a Past last year.  I’ve been using it to display aprons and other items and stacking displays at vintage markets.

But I’ve seen so many cute vintage suitcases used as signs on Pinterest that I thought I’d try it on this one.

I just wiped down the smoothest side of the suitcase and painted on three thin coats of chalkboard paint.  So easy!

Now I just need to work on my chalkboard printing.
