We love soup at our house! I make one big pot every week through the winter. Today’s recipe for turkey taco soup is easy to throw together and a great alternative to chili. This one’s a favorite with my family.

Turkey Taco Soup Recipe
- olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1 can diced tomatoes with chilis
- 1 quart chicken stock
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Saute onion, garlic, and turkey in olive oil until meat is browned. Add all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, cornbread, or toppings.

- Fritos
- grated cheese
- green onion, sliced
- tomato, diced
