This is the weekend for the Paris Flea Market in Livermore! Â It’s becoming a bigger deal for me since my long-time shop, Room With a Past, is closing. Â Yes, August will be our last sale there. Â And it’s mainly because of our success. Â Parking there has always been a problem and the neighboring businesses complained so much that the landlord didn’t want to renew our lease. Â Growth is good but does sometimes cause some problems. Â Paris Flea Market is continuing to grow, too. Â Several of the consignors from RWAP are moving over and Susan also has the warehouse next door to expand into. Â Parking is much easier, too.
I have a lot of hand-stamped bracelets there this month. Most of these are in my Etsy shop, too.
Have I told you about this little drawer yet? Â It’s late and I can’t remember. Â I found it on the side of the street on one of my daily walks. Â It’s just the right size for my short necklaces.
This is my top shelf with the vintage crates…
… can you tell the difference between them and the new crates that I stained on the bottom shelf?  I used some small new cup hooks in the right crate.  I used larger cup hooks in the left crate.  I’ve collected them for a while.  I actually like them better… I can hang more on them.
And since I’m going to be gone next week I sat up at Room With a Past already, too. Â I’ll have those photos next week.
If you’re in the area, come see me at Paris Flea Market. Â I work 9-4 on Friday.
