This is the weekend for the Paris Flea Market in Livermore! It’s becoming a bigger deal for me since my long-time shop, Room With a Past, is closing. Yes, August will be our last sale there. And it’s mainly because of our success. Parking there has always been a problem and the neighboring businesses complained so much that the landlord didn’t want to renew our lease. Growth is good but does sometimes cause some problems. Paris Flea Market is continuing to grow, too. Several of the consignors from RWAP are moving over and Susan also has the warehouse next door to expand into. Parking is much easier, too.
I have a lot of hand-stamped bracelets there this month. Most of these are in my Etsy shop, too.
Have I told you about this little drawer yet? It’s late and I can’t remember. I found it on the side of the street on one of my daily walks. It’s just the right size for my short necklaces.
This is my top shelf with the vintage crates…
… can you tell the difference between them and the new crates that I stained on the bottom shelf? I used some small new cup hooks in the right crate. I used larger cup hooks in the left crate. I’ve collected them for a while. I actually like them better… I can hang more on them.
And since I’m going to be gone next week I sat up at Room With a Past already, too. I’ll have those photos next week.
If you’re in the area, come see me at Paris Flea Market. I work 9-4 on Friday.
[…] back this summer when I announced that RWAP was closing? Well, after that Susan sold it so we are staying open and plan to be open for another ten years! […]
