Nativity Scenes for Preschoolers | Christmas Gift Ideas

I’ve collected Nativity scenes for years.  I shared a few of my favorite Nativity scenes a few years back.  Most of mine are vintage and fragile but if you have a toddler around you’re gonna need something tougher.  So I had one of my assistants go on a search for toddler-friendly creche sets.  These Nativity scenes for preschoolers will give young kids a way to discover the true meaning of Christmas.  They are wonderful tools to teach them about the miracle of Christmas when Jesus was born.

Nativity Scenes for Preschoolers

These sets would make great gifts for new parents, your children, or your grandchildren.  From Nativity books, scenes, and even bath toys there are some great gifts out there. There is even a game that could easily become a Christmas tradition for years to come.

  • Little People Nativity Scene: These little toys are the perfect size for chubby hands to hold and play. There is also a Lil’ Shepherds Set that comes with adorable sheep, shepherds, water well, and more.
  • Itty Bitty Nativity Set: For as much as preschoolers love stuffed animals, this Nativity set is the perfect gift choice.
  • Nativity Scene Felt Figures: The perfect addition to any felt board.
  • Playmobil Nativity Stable with Manger: These are some rough and tumble type toys. They will last through multiple kiddos. Plus, they are super cute.
  • Rubber Duckie Christmas Nativity Scene: New bath toys are always a hit, especially when you pair it with a bottle of bubble bath.
  • LEGO® Nativity Mini Build: Preschool is a great age because you get to start introducing big kid toys, such as these all-time favorite building blocks.
  • The Nativity Family Hand Painted Hand Made Wooden Nesting Dolls: This Nativity gift would make a great keepsake. If you want something a little different, take a look at this Nesting Doll Set with Bible Verses.
  • The Christmas Star From Afar: A lovely Christmas game that the entire family would enjoy playing. I can see this becoming a Christmas tradition.
  • Nativity Fridge Magnets: These guys also double as a great decoration for the fridge.
  • Nativity Building Blocks: With over 40 building blocks, preschoolers can set up the Nativity scene exactly how they like.
  • Good Deeds Manger: For every good deed a child performs, they will get a piece of straw for baby Jesus to lay his head.
  • Christmas in the Manger Board Book: The artwork in this book is incredible.
  • God Gave Us Christmas: Kids ask a lot of questions. This book has all of the answers.
  • Happy Birthday Jesus!: This book gives kiddos a look into how to deck the halls… in honor of Jesus’s birthday.
  • Make a Nativity Scene Sticker Sheets: Since this pack of stickers comes in a set of 24, it would be a great way for kids to make their own Christmas cards.
  • Melissa & Doug Nativity Set: Great for a first Nativity scene. These toys are well made and seem to last a lifetime.
  • Large Fabric Christmas Nativity Set: This jumbo sized Nativity scene is made to stand over 15″ tall. Baby Jesus is adorable.
  • The Very First Christmas Sticker Book: Tell the story of Nativity through stickers.

Give the most important gift this holiday season, the gift of telling the incredible story of the Nativity. Which Nativity scene for preschoolers caught your eye? Share your favorite picks with me in the comments.
