It’s now officially summer! When the seasons change we usually make a change in our outfits. But sometimes we just can’t afford to spend much on new pieces for our wardrobe. That’s why I like to check out thrift stores and make my own jewelry! These will be available in our online shop if you don’t want to make them yourself. Supplies to Make Summer Earrings
This is the easiest DIY jewelry project on my blog! It only takes 2 supplies and 1 tool.
How to Make Earrings
All you have to do is twist open the loop on the bottom of the French hooks, slide the charms on (make sure they are facing forward), then twist it closed again. Here’s a short video to show you:

Making earrings from supplies in my stash has recently been a lovely sit-still craft for me (with a bout of diverticulitis!) on top of the “lockdown.”. Although the air turns blue whenever I drop a bead or jump ring! Living in Maine, about 1 hour from the coast, both earrings are a hit with me!
