I’m excited to be joining in with Laura Kelly and 59 other bloggers for the 2016 Popcorn Box Party sponsored by World Market, AdornIt, Kunin Group, Udderly Smooth, Tombow USA, Expressionery, Ellison/Sizzix, Expo International, and Oriental Trading. These sponsors provided each of us with a small box of crafting supplies (and a delicious bar of chocolate from World Market) and a popcorn box and given the task of decorating it for Halloween. Last year I used my popcorn box for a centerpiece and shared how to make popcorn in a paper bag. This year I turned it into a Halloween Boo Basket but you can scroll down to see what all the other amazing bloggers did with their boxes, too.

Popcorn Box Halloween Boo Basket
My first idea was to create a ghost costume for my boo basket. I thought back to when I was growing up. Halloween wasn’t such a big deal then and a white sheet was a perfectly acceptable Halloween costume then. I joined in the popcorn box party fun with the #udderlywicked hashtag over on Instagram and gave my Udderly Smooth lotion a ghost costume!
But my popcorn box wasn’t really recognizable as a ghost when I tried it. So I thought back to when I turned my drawing model into a mummy last year and decided to make a popcorn box mummy!
Supplies for Popcorn Box Mummy
I repurposed the tag that Laura sent with my goodies. Using a white pen really made the BOOED stand out. I just hot glued the pom pom fringe on the bottom of the tag.
Then I filled my Boo Basket with LOTS of goodies. Including this big pom pom spider that Leo helped me make. I shared this spider tutorial YEARS ago. I think it was the first tutorial I ever shared on the blog!
Now check out all the other popcorn box ideas!
