Last week I shared 24 DIY succulent planter ideas. Â Succulents are some of the easiest plants to grow but some of you have told me that your thumbs are BLACK and you can’t even keep succulents alive! Â Don’t worry… you can put together some faux succulent planters and no one will ever know the difference. Â I am really amazed by some of these fake plants. Â There have been several times I’ve had to actually touch the plants before I could tell they were fake!

Yes… this arrangement is FAKE! Â And so are all the other arrangements and planters in this article.
DIY Faux Succulent Planters
Faux Concrete Pot – I painted this terra cotta pot to look like concrete on a Facebook Live yesterday! Â This is a super fun faux finish! Â I show it with a real plant but it should have been faux since I didn’t put a sealer on my paint finish.

What a fun collection of succulent planters. Yesterday the hubby and I got a chance to go antiquing and thrifting and found a couple new fun shops. While out I found one of those chicken feeders, and really wanted it to make a planter. But it was so expensive so I had to pass it up. (So Sad).
Thanks so much for including my vintage oil can in your fun collection!

Thanks for your comment! You should try getting a chicken feeder from a feed store and just leaving it outside for a while! Maybe spray some vinegar and salt on it to age it even faster. 🙂
