I’m still hard at work updating my laundry room. The big reveal will be next week with a group of my blogging friends who are all sharing $100 room makeovers. So you can probably guess that I’ve been looking at a LOT of laundry rooms lately to get ideas. Today I’m sharing 5 of my favorite DIY laundry rooms that will make you WANT to wash clothes!

5 DIY Laundry Rooms
I love how light this laundry room is. See that narrow wood shelf right behind the washer and dryer? I found several laundry rooms with similar shelves. You’ll see one in my makeover, too. It really comes in handy and helps hide the wires and plugs. Another thing I’ll have similar to this room is the clothesline.
Here’s another narrow wood shelf. I won’t have a utility sink in my laundry room but I found something fun similar to the vintage style tile backsplash.
My favorite color! Wish I’d seen this before I painted my laundry room. This laundry “room” is about the size of mine… actually a laundry CLOSET instead of a ROOM.
Instead of a narrow stained wood shelf, this small laundry room has a narrow white shelf. Love the lettering on the wall, too.
Here’s another laundry “room” that’s about the size of my closet. And even though mine won’t look ANYTHING like this, I still wanted to share it with you. I love it when people decorate with things they like instead of trying to make their room look like everyone else on Instagram. Plus doesn’t Jeanie look like she enjoys laundry now?
