Today’s “Throwback Thursday” project is one I did five years ago but never even shared here on the blog! But since Father’s Day is just around the corner I thought some unique Father’s Day gifts would be appropriate. So, here come the upcycled Father’s Day trophies!

This first one is a trophy I made for my husband. I found this, and a BUNCH of other old sports trophies, when we went antiquing in Chico, California. They must have been new-old-stock or something. There were quite a few in a few different sports and most weren’t personalized.
I used them to display my jewelry at the Room With a Past sale before Father’s Day that year (2014).
I put a “sample” label on to give buyers an idea of what to do.
I saw these bull riding trophies at Antique Alley but I didn’t buy them. But wouldn’t they be fun to repurpose for some unique Father’s Day gifts?
Now for a few more close ups of the vintage trophies… football…
…and basketball.
So, what would YOU do with these old trophies?
