Last year I shared some pine cone mason jars that I found on Pinterest with my Facebook page. I made the comment that I couldn’t make them because our pine cones are giant. I can’t even fit ONE of our pine cones into a mason jar. One of my lovely readers commented that her yard was covered with tiny pine cones and she would gladly send me a few. Less than a week later this big box appeared at my door… FILLED with the cutest little pine cones I’ve ever seen!

Pine Cone Mason Jars
I had a couple of helpers for this project. Isn’t this CRAZY how different these pine cones are?
The simple Pinterest project I had seen was just a mason jar full of tiny pine cones. So I pulled out one of the vintage Crown canning jars that Lauren found in Canada for only 25 cents each! Then Leo filled it up for me. Watch this… I think he has a future making DIY videos!
And here’s the final product.
Here’s the pine cone mason jar in our fall vignette last year. We didn’t turn the gas on in the fireplace so I filled it with tiny led string lights and flameless candles. I also made a few ornaments for my Thanksgiving tree with these tiny pine cones.
Now take a look at all these pine cone craft and decor projects from my talented blogging friends.

Funny I thought I was the only person that ships pinecones but I see I’m not alone 🙂 haha Cute project and video.

I think this is my favorite project! Little Leo is absolutely adorable from his cute blue boots to the way he holds that giant pinecone with one hand while filling the jar with the other. And he’s tidy;, picking up the stray pinecones. Perfect decor with some little led lights! Sweet share!
