Just wanted to catch up with a few little projects I’ve been painting with CeCe Caldwell’s Vintage White natural chalk and clay paint. Remember a few weeks ago when I painted that little octagon table and decided to keep it? I had lots of paint left. A sample jar probably would have covered it but I bought a quart. Even after these projects I have a lot left so you’ll probably see this color on something else soon!
The key above was my favorite. I bought it at Salvation Army a few months ago. It had mismatched cup hooks on it so I removed them, used them in another project, and replaced them with these little matching hooks.
This has one good coat of Vintage White. I let it dry then wet distressed the edge. (Wet distress: I rubbed the edges with a wet cloth.) After it dried I rubbed a coat of CeCe’s clear wax on it.
I bought the little drawer on the left at Antique Alley. It was a natural “faux wood” and filled with little goodies. I was mainly after the contents but thought I could use the drawer for something. I’ve used it in a couple of sales to hold small items.
I don’t even remember where I got the mug rack. It has come in handy to hold bracelets. At the last Treasure Island Flea sale someone offered to buy it so it now has a new home!
