We got them married! Jordy and Jonny’s wedding was Saturday. Since I’m expecting to be completely wiped out after the wedding I scheduled some posts that I’ve been meaning to write for a LONG TIME and just never got around to it. I should be back to a regular routine and getting in gear for fall and the holidays soon.
Speaking of fall… We’re planning a few BIG projects this fall. Over 10 years ago now I started celebrating the “Thirty Days of Thanksgiving.” I was a little put off by stores celebrating Halloween and Christmas but skipping over Thanksgiving. I’ve celebrated on the blog for a few years but this year I’m trying to organize it a little better so we’ll have a post every day. I’m hoping to have some guest bloggers, too! Sign up for our newsletter so you won’t miss it!
I’ve also ‘celebrated’ the Twelve Days of Christmas Cookies a few times and am hoping to do that on the blog in early December. Cookies have always been a big party of our holiday season so we’ll share our cookie secrets with you then!
We’ve got a few big shows in the fall, too. I missed Antique Alley in the spring because it was the same weekend as Easter so I’m REALLY excited to be back for that in September. My sister and I will be set up on Highway 4 west of Grandview, Texas, on September 19-21. That, along with our regular Paris Flea Market and Treasure Island Flea, will keep me busy.
But just in case I’m not busy enough, I’m also looking into Facebook home parties. Leave me a message if you’d be interested in hosting. They’re just like home parties but everything takes place on Facebook… more to come on that!
But now back to the real post. On one of our trips back to Texas to visit our family we went to Old Home Supply in Fort Worth. I’ve been there a couple of times now and it’s one of my favorite stores anywhere. I thought I had blogged these but I only posted a few on Facebook. So here they are… enjoy! And go if you get a chance!
