Room With A Past Vintage Markets

Goodbye, Room With a Past!

Top shelf at Room With a Past's March 2015 sale | DuctTapeAndDenim.comYes, you read that right… I’m sad to announce that this is my last month to sell at Room With a Past.

It’s now “normal” for me to have 3-4 sales in different locations every month now.  I had to make a decision about which to keep and which to give up and after months of thinking, talking to friends, and making for/against lists RWAP didn’t make the cut.Middle shelf at Room With a Past. It was a hard decision since I’ve been there FIVE years and I love working with these ladies.  But in May I can start being a regular customer there!!!  I’m looking forward to that.

Our new owner is making a lot of changes and really updating the look of the shop.  One thing she did this month was replace the shelves that Mandi and I were displaying on and brought in a huge bakers rack.

It was big enough for the both of us.  Take a look. The shelf I'm sharing with Mandi at Room With a Past. | DuctTapeAndDenim.com

I thought it was very appropriate that I finish my time at RWAP with Mandi.  She was the first person I ever met from the shop.

And that’s a great story!

At the time I was selling vintage papers in my Etsy shop.  Mandi ordered some and I remember thinking when I mailed them that I should just take them to her since she only lived a couple of miles away.  Then I thought that would be kind of weird to order something online and have the person show up at your doorstep!  But it wasn’t too much longer ’til she contacted me and told me about the shop.

It was about two years later that I became a “Roomie” and started selling there myself.

BTW, she’s also the only person I know IRL (in real life) that has more pins than me!  Here’s my Pinterest account… come follow me:Visit Ann @ Duct Tape and Denim’s profile on Pinterest.
