I have the habit of thinking that I can get more done in a short amount of time than is actually possible. This spring I flew straight from Antique Alley to the Snap Conference in Salt Lake City. (You’ll be hearing more about that, too!) And when that was over we took a week off for a road trip through Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and back home to Northern California.
My plan was to work on photos and blog as I went along. Well… the only thing that I DID get done was to download my photos and organize them into folders. I guess that’s better than nothing.
So you’re getting this post a little late. But Antique Alley was still so fun I wanted to make sure that you all saw it! Here we are on a dreary day in front of our tent. Notice our newest “Sister Chick”? E joined us this spring. She sold her own rubber band bracelets and original artwork.
We had a few themes going on… CHICKENS to represent our joint booth name “Sister Chicks”, and ROSES to represent the beautiful Lilla Rose hair accessories that my sister sells. (And now, I do, too!)
I bought this mannequin from one of our neighbors at the end of the last Antique Alley. She greeted customers at the front corner of our tent.
I shared how to make these vintage key and button magnets back a few posts ago.
I love this piece of old barn wood!
We started off with LOTS of sparkly bracelets!
One of these things is not like the other! Our heads usually scare a couple of people a day. But they do make great displays for the Lilla Rose flexi clips and headbands!
Here we are at the end of the sale in front of our empty tent. I think we’re all giddy from exhaustion! But it was fun and we’ll be back in September!!!
The Fall 2015 dates are September 18-20. We’ll be at Faith Meadows, just a couple of miles outside Grandview, Texas, on Highway 4 going toward Cleburne. Hope to see you there!
‘Til the next project,
Ann @ Duct Tape and Denim
