Antique Alley

Antique Alley Flea Market, Fall 2013

I’ve been back from Antique Alley flea market for a few days now.  I still have a little unpacking to do.  It’s amazing how much work it is to pack, set up, sell, visit, shop, eat, pack up again, come home, and unpack again.  In spite of selling A LOT of jewelry there, my suitcases weighed 90 pounds going to Texas and 95 pounds on the way back!  But most of that was old wood that I brought back to make signs.  (Oh, and chocolate candy bars my daughter sent from Canada for me to take back to friends in California.)

Faith Meadows is the location where we set up when we go to Antique Alley.  It grows a little every year.  This was the biggest & best ever.  I thought I read somewhere that there were 110 vendors this time.

I had every intention of blogging while I was there but we just got way too busy.  So you get all the highlights in one post today!

JUNQUE IN THE TRUNK BOOTH

No, I didn’t eat the whole thing! I couldn’t even eat half. This is the T-Rex turkey leg from Halo BBQ.

The best fried pies we’ve ever eaten… from Mom’s Fried Pies.

Trying to keep with our “Sister Chicks” theme, we used chick feeders to display the jewelry.

And this is our mascot, Gertie.

My dad, sister, & me after we loaded everything back in the trucks. A successful show!

Until next April!
