I have a confession to make… coloring is not my favorite craft. It’s not even in my top 10. I much prefer to doodle and draw coloring pages for other people to fill in. But I keep hearing from you, my readers, that you enjoy coloring. So I decided to share some of my completed pages with you. I have one a month scheduled for the next 4-5 months. Hope you enjoy them… and let me know what you color with. Maybe you can convince me to be a fan, too! Today I’ll be sharing my first hand-drawn Bible verse coloring page with you — James 1:2-4.

Hand-drawn Bible Verse Coloring Page, James 1:2-4
I started this coloring page with a pencil drawing.
When I had it just like I wanted it, I went back and traced all the pencil lines with a fine tip Sharpie. When it was dry I erased all the lines that were still showing. I scanned this so I could share it with our church’s women’s group. (They created a coloring book for Ladies’ Day Away.)
Now you can download it, too!

I took some copies with me when I went to visit my sister’s family last fall. Her youngest LOVES coloring!
What a look of concentration! She probably sat here for at least 30 minutes without talking… which is a big deal for a 5 year old!
