Sometimes when I’m at a flea market I wonder if I’m posting too many photos on Instagram or my Facebook page. After my last trip to Texas I had lots of people tell me they loved the pictures and why didn’t I post more? All you have to do is ask! I’m gonna have at least two posts packed full of photos from my trip, maybe three!
Today’s photos are from Faith Meadows at the Antique Alley flea market. That’s where my sister and I set up. Our tent is called “Sister Chicks”.

We get the same spot every time, not too far from the food vendors! (Not on purpose but it sure is convenient!) But every time we set up, our space is completely different. This time my tables went down the center of the tent and my sister’s went across the short end and on the screen doors.
This next photo is officially the “back” of our tent. But our neighbor on this side is a food truck so they don’t use up their entire 12′ x 20′ space. Plus there is a little “alley” between the two because of some trees. So it ends up nice for us. Customers can walk around 3 sides of our tent.
The short end where our sign is hanging faces the driveway. For some reason the tents were set up a little off. That electric outlet you see in the front is supposed to be under our tent.
Sue Ellen made a sign for my mannequin and the girls donated a tutu for her to wear for the week.
And since we’re the Sister CHICKS we play along with the theme by using chicken related pieces to display jewelry. These antler earrings are some of my favorite new items this fall. They aren’t listed online yet but if you want a pair leave a comment with your email and I’ll send you an invoice ($2.50 s/h).
You’ve seen this old piece of barn wood in previous posts. It’s still my favorite earring display!
One of my young customers said I should call this style the Lady Longhorn.
And I’m still using the little chalkboards we bought for Jordann’s wedding. These make the best signs ever. All I have to do is wipe them down with a damp cloth and write something new with a chalk pen. I use the Uchida chalk pen. It also comes in a lot of colors. We use the colors on our kitchen door at home!
Since I have to fly to this market I can’t take my usual displays. But every trip I add a crate, a table, or some other display. Since my tables were in the middle of the tent this time I stacked the crates and hammered tiny nails on all sides. The customers could walk all the way around my displays
