We’re back with another round of Craft Lightning! Every other month a group of 40 or so bloggers get together and each do a 15-minute craft based on a theme. This month our theme is “WEDDINGS”.
That’s easy for me! We just put on a DIY wedding last year so I have lots of projects to share. You can check them all out HERE.
This vintage CARD garland was just about the fastest and easiest of all the projects we did. The cards are from an old game called Probe that I bought at a thrift shop. You can get these cards on Etsy. I’ve seen others in slightly different styles from other games. Just do a search for “vintage letter card game” if you can’t find any locally.
Then I just took my (also vintage) hole punch, punched holes in the top corners, and ran a string through them. We pinned it on the top of a little suitcase that I found at the Shadelands Antique Show a few years ago.
We also created a jar to collect donations for the honeymoon fund.

It was a good day all around. Here’s what the table looked like by the end of the day.
