It’s already time for my next show. Tonight the Room With a Past sale starts! I already set up and got trained on our new POS system so we’re ready to go! Another good thing about not working in an office job anymore is that my RWAP schedule can be changed up. Before I could only work on Saturday. This month one of our close family friends is getting married on Saturday and I can’t miss that! So I’ll be working on Friday from 12-4. If you’re local, come see me!
With such a short turnaround between shows I pretty much just used the same displays that I did last weekend at the Roadside Relics Vintage Market. But they’re just in a different arrangement.
The first photo is my middle shelf. That’s always the easiest for me to set up. It’s just the right height for customers. My top shelf is too high to see anything just sitting on it. And the bottom shelf has always been an awkward space for me to fill, as you can see in the next photo.
Please feel free to leave me ideas on how to fill this space! I want to work on this area more. BTW, I found the nurse hat on the little shelf on one of our girl’s shopping days back in Texas. I think it was on our trip to Glen Rose. (Yes, it was… I went back through my photos and found the ones I took that day. Will have to write another post to share those. But scroll down on this page to see my daughter wearing it the day we found it.)
And here’s the top shelf. I try to keep things up higher so people can see them. Those earring cards that are just leaning up against the crates will be really hard for shorter customers to see.
The price tags are really distracting me in this photo, too. With our new pricing system I’ll probably be reworking all my price tags anyway. I’m ready for a new look!
