Welcome to Day 13 of the 30 Days of Thanksgiving! Who loves pumpkin pie? Do you like the filling or the crust best? I’ll let you in on my secret crust recipe. It’s called Pillsbury…lol… Yep, I don’t make my own anymore. I love to bake but pie crust was never my strong point. So I just buy frozen dough at the grocery store and focus on the pumpkin pie filling! I’m also sharing a cute little poem about pumpkin pie, along with our daily Bible verse, and video.

Kathy Allen says
We used to write 5 things we were grateful for, add them to a can, then pass the can around, have a person pick out one and say how they related to what they chose. Well, I lived in this house for a year in Maine with 2 kids (30 years ago) with no incoming water, I also grew up in a house in NH with a dug well that went dry in August so I knew how to haul water! I am STILL grateful for hot water and thank God almost every time I take a shower! Well, the person who got THAT one was a friend of mine, a city girl, who really just couldn’t relate to being grateful “hot water”; it was so funny! I try to be Humbly Grateful, not Grumbly Hateful! I’m copying the Paleo recipe for my daughter; sounds good!
