Junk Bonanza, San Diego ~ February 2016 Vintage Flea Market

I had sooooo many people that wanted to go with us to Junk Bonanza that I decided I’d document our trip with videos.  So if you didn’t get to go I hope this helps you get the feel of what it’s like to prep, travel, set up, and go to Junk Bonanza!

Junk Bonanza Road Trip

Here’s what my desk looked like the week BEFORE Junk Bonanza!

Then I had to buy a rooftop cargo carrier to haul all my extra stuff.  As much as I love the Jeep it doesn’t hold as much as my old mini van!  UPDATE:  I absolutely LOVED this cargo carrier!!!  It held even more than I thought and it was pretty easy to get on.  I felt a little more wind resistance when I was driving but it wasn’t bad.

Picking up Jordy and packing:

Road trip!!!  We drove from Concord, California (in the Bay Area), down I-5, through Los Angeles and to Del Mar, just north of San Diego.  (Sorry… not sure why the photo isn’t showing up.  The video is working though.)

Setting up.  I’ll share other vendors at the end of this video.  I could NOT BELIEVE how amazing these vendors were.  I was honored to be included along with them!  You can see a list of all the vendors with links to most of their pages on the Junk Bonanza website.

Day One.  A quick video of our space a few other vendors.  Then we ended the day on the beach.

Day two.  This originated as a Periscope so I was talking and answering questions the whole time.  But the music was really loud in the background and they kept announcing how much time until the show opened so I didn’t use the audio.

Road trip home:
