We’re still recovering from the wedding so you’ll get another catch up post today. These photos are from one of our famous “Girls’ Shopping Days.” My family lives in a great location just south of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and there are some amazing vintage and antique shops within a short drive in almost any direction.
The rule is “NO BOYS ALLOWED”. We do make an occasional allowance for boys under the age of 5. But on this trip we were free… funny thing is when we were eating lunch the “boys” walked into the same restaurant. So we ended up having lunch with them on this trip.
I’ve been following Robelyn at red.neck chic for years now. I love her stuff and wanted to see it in person so we went by the Hillsboro Antique Mall. I don’t know about you but I love that sign… must be the duct tape! BTW, Hillsboro is one of my favorite antique spots. There are several shops around the square, although it seems like there aren’t as many as there used to be. And the courthouse is beautiful!
Yeah… we get a little giddy with no boys around. Plus I think it was 110 degrees that day! If these photos look at little different than my usual it’s because I pulled them from our Instagram account. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll get these in “real time”!
If you know of any other good places to go antique shopping in Texas, let me know!
